Inventory Aid / Warehouse Cleaning

Position Summary

The Inventory and Warehouse Associate supports inventory accuracy, product quality, packaging, and general warehouse operations. Mondays are primarily dedicated to cleaning and organizing the facility. During the remainder of the week, this position counts, weighs, inspects, labels, and records raw materials and finished goods.

Primary Responsibilities

• Clean and organize the warehouse, production, inventory, and common work areas each Monday.
• Count and weigh raw materials, components, and finished goods.
• Inspect materials and finished products for damage, defects, contamination, incorrect quantities, or other quality concerns.
• Compare physical inventory against inventory records and report discrepancies.
• Accurately enter inventory information into Excel and company systems.
• Organize, label, stock, and relocate inventory.
• Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
• Help package, label, seal, and prepare finished goods for storage or shipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly inventory and packaging areas.
• Follow company safety, quality, and handling procedures.
• Operate a forklift or other material-handling equipment if properly trained and authorized.
• Perform other related warehouse and inventory duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Able to accurately count, weigh, measure, and inspect materials.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including entering information into spreadsheets.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or product defects.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work independently.
• Previous inventory, warehouse, quality-inspection, or packaging experience is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Able to bend, reach, squat, and perform repetitive counting and packaging tasks.
• Able to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to work around warehouse equipment, packaging materials, and varying warehouse conditions.

Schedule

• Monday: Primarily facility cleaning and organization.
• Tuesday through Friday: Inventory counting, weighing, inspection, organization, and packaging.
• Hours: 8:00 to 16:30
• Position: Full Time hourly
